After the big popularity of android lollipop, Google revealed the next android M at its eighth I/O developers conference.In its conference, Google said that the name of the new android M will be unveiled at the launch of next Nexus.
With the brand new design, the Google has brought major improvements in the six areas.

Enhanced Power and Charging
With its new feature, named as Doze, android M is designed to reduce app processes when it is still for long time. It is possible using motion detectors which will identify the motion of still state.
This OS will have a twice battery backup as compared to lollipop.
Android M also supports USB type-C which will provide instant charging and users can charge other phone wiyh their device.
Better Permission Management
The new android will have a redisigned app permission management which will give users a better permission management.
You will not be prompted for senseless permission and app updates will not re-ask for new permissions.
Users can modify every permissions in the settings.
Customised WEB Experience
Unlike android L, Google kept improving the web usage and experience.
with Chrome Custom tabs, developers will now have access to Chrome's capabilities.
With Chrome Custom tab, the other apps will be able to open the customised window instead of launching the whole Chrome.
It will also have a lot more featues like auto sign in, auto form fill, password saving and other security modifications.
Improved intents
One of the major problem "Open with" dialog appears in recent versions of android as OS is not sure where to open it; this problem is no longer be found on the android M. For example, when you click on a link of playstore app somewhere, it will directly open that link in playstore rather to ask for 'open with' dialog.
Standarized Fingerprint support
Obviously, this will need a fingerprint scanner hardware on device, Google is putting its effort to support this on most devices in Future.
Now, the scanner will not only be used for unlocking device but also to make secure real life and play store shopping.

Introduced Android Pay
With this release, Google is also launching 'Android Pay' which will work using NFC and host card emulation for one-tap payment.
this is introduced to bring simplicity and security for users.
