Now she is assigned with the job as receptionist at Tokyo's Mitsukoshi Department Stores.
With pre-programmed scripts, Chihira makes lifelike expressions like making lip movement while talking, winking, and making conversations. Her movements are powered by 43 motors.
Currently the robot isn't designed to respond costumer complaints and questions but enough as skilled receptionist for public attraction.
